ebay Shutting down Magento Go and ProStores
According to Magento marketing head Craig Peasley's statement, they said they focused on the two Magento e-commerce core products first is Magento Enterprise Ebay which shut down Magento Go and ProStores small-business e-commerce products in early 2015. From this announcement, 10,000 small-business customers were affected who used these services for online Stores or Retail businesses. Small business customers will have until February 1, 2015, to move their online shops to different services.
According to Magento marketing head Craig Peasley's statement, they said they focused on the two Magento e-commerce core products, Magento Enterprise and the second Magento Community Edition. Magento Community is the open-source version of the platform, which means the code is accessible and editable by the public and was the first product Magento launched in 2007. Magento Enterprise is for large e-retailers who do several million in web sales, Peasley says and is available on a subscription basis.
